Yesterday was my last day at IT :( I had fun though. my co-workers got me a cake. I also got to take apart a third hard drive and got a P.D.A palm V from Gilbert. all in all it was a great experience. I hope to do it again next year.

Today at IT I took apart a laptop that got ran over. I also got some new information from Gilbert on the virtual PC. my thumb got cut open by the flat head screw driver though. :(

Today I finished Larry  project. I felt so proud of myself that i finally finished. i also saw how to put an image on a computer with kbox.

Today when I walked into IT I had a new project on my desk thanks to Jason. All I had to do was go into Track IT and update the status of the department of closed work orders. I also managed to sessions of help desk. Towards the end of the day me and Jason went down to the Public Works building and installed printer drivers on the computers there to connect them to the main copier.

Today in IT I went to the Fire department and setup/installed some drivers for a Richo printer so that it would auto hole punch. I also set up two more VPN certificates and Verizon aircards. I worked on Tim's CER list and tried to categorize the atas. I also worked on the APD acredidation for Larry. Towards the end of the day I tried out the VNC viewer on some computers.

Today @ IT I found the Etrust for Jason when he couldn't locate it as a file. HTE went down then Track-It stopped working . Jason worked on a PC in Debbie's room and we did some scans on it and ran Bart's PE on it. I ran Help Desk while everyone else was in the staff meeting.

Today @ IT I got put on the help desk list for the week. I also moved a computer, monitor, and a heavy backup generator into Debbie's room. I watched Jason and Kathy verify a certificate on some laptops. it was a slow day.

Today I came into work about an hour early. But the first thing that happened today was a hiccup in the system. By this I mean Outlook and Track It(email and help desk programs). I sat at my desk and answered some phone calls. Mrs. Debbie helped me get desk/office supplies after i cleaned out Mrs.Brenda's stuff. Later I talked to Gilbert about fiber optics and our companies email database.

Today in IT I crossed people off of a list of inactive emails for our database. I also hung out with my coworker, Gilbert. He showed me the humongous server room at our office. Ghost-Imaged a computer which basically means that we restored it to the basic Operating System programs. Later I set 2 Police Officer Tough-Book Laptops with a Sprint air cards though one of them didn't work.

Today was my first day of work at the IT department at City Hall. It was so fun. I got introduced to everyone in my department. I worked with my co-worker named Jason, shadowed him all day, and got set up on my computer. I went on a couple of calls one of which was to the Municipal (Fire Fighter and Police Officer) building.
